買攀岩車的時候, 新加入攀岩車的車友通常都比較會購買成車, 而老車友就有可能會因為對車子的規格另有看法與要求而選擇用自行組車的方式添購新車.
以價格上來說, 組好的歐美成車零配件合適夠用的等級都不便宜, 如果買零件來組裝的話因為通常用的都是高檔化, 常常裝起來的總價比成車價錢還更高, 如果要經濟就是買大陸貨, 目前來說大陸製的品質價錢都還相當可以, 整車組起來的價格一般比較能接受.
買大陸車零組件比較便宜, 問題在組裝怎麼辦? 如果想這樣組車的車友要先想好這一點, 組車是一件麻煩事, 技術以外還要特殊工具, 除了少數車友以外, 原則上自己是沒辦法完全DIY的, 攀岩車的規格並沒有像登山車那樣標準化, 組裝中常常會冒出奇特的規格不相容的狀況, 對我來說這個太傷腦筋, 因此我是不幫人組車的, 所以要組車就要事先探聽好, 看是賣零件的商家能組裝重要的部份或是哪間車店願意接受來料代工組車.
組裝這樣的車的過程中, 曾經遇到過許多的狀況, 通常多是因為品管不良或材質不佳引起的, 有時依標準正常的方式組裝時就會發生無法安裝或崩牙等狀況, 許多人組車時都有遇到過, 這個倒是要有心理準備.

i cant understand everything because my chinese sucks. i want to remind everyone the importance of having the right tools when assembling a bike. from experience, brands like echo/zhi/bionic all require a little bit of work on their frames for assembly to go perfectly. the bottom bracket shell usually needs thread chasing. if you are using a light weight headset, make sure you face and ream the headtube.

關於DIY組車我最近玩大!就是下坡車!基本問題BB一般68mm73mm!我是100mm!後輪花鼓一般135mm我是150mm!還牽扯到軸心.變速.蝶煞!....很多問題!千金難買早知道!還有要買一些特殊工具!慘劇!
