側跳練習的時候，踏板剛好卡著石縫，曲柄就這樣弄滑牙。
原廠曲柄的長度是165mm,而大部份的after market曲柄是160(小車）和170（大車）。
請問我買160mm來做replacement會不會有問題？

Monty 小攀原廠的曲柄是 158mm, 其他廠大多是 160mm, 大攀則是用 170mm, 反而 165mm 是很奇特的規格, 因此改用160mm 應該是很OK的.

try to get your pedal threads heli-coiled. This is done by drilling a larger diameter hole in place of the original one, tapping the hole with a reverse thread, and adding a steel insert. You should be able to call around some machine shops to help you do this :) I got mine done for $10 and a 6 pack of beer ;)

Great tip:)!!! Will try to check that out locally.
I thought we would meet up at the bikeshow comp in Toronto. Don't know why they didn't have that trial section this year. Hope it will happen again next year. I'm not yet good enough to come riding in Vancouver :(.

That's fine for me, thanks.
I know a guy and he used to custom made some machine parts for my other hobby. I think he can help me for this. I will try to fix that stripped crank as for my spare part cause I got a good deal from Hugo, HB Trials, for a used set of the original Meta 165mm crank. This could save my time to replace only the stripped side and also have a spare for the other side.
Couple months ago, I met JK, Trevor, Carsinn and some other Ontario great riders at Joyride
bike park. It was nice to see all tricks & moves in person. Hope to ride with them more this summer.

關於曲柄滑牙的問題，凱文在上面介紹了一個很好的補救方法，就是重新攻牙後再裝上牙套。剛找上當機械技師的朋友答應幫忙修補，他說大部份機械店也會有這套工具，就是凱文提到的Heli-coil。如果剛買那套工具來修補的話，就是會長講的不化算，買新的更省錢省時間。但是滑牙是發生車在架殺車的掣動位置的話，可能是找人幫助比較化算？在網路上找到有關用牙套來修補滑牙車架的影片給各位大大參考參考。
